Clifton Hill McDonalds Suburban Icon Poster
Often called the most beautiful McDonald's in the world, this Clifton Hill landmark began life as the United Kingdom Hotel, a stop for coach drivers in the 1860s.
In 1937 the old hotel was replaced with an Art Deco masterpiece by J.H. Wardrop, the architect behind the Shrine of Remembrance. When it closed in 1988 and McDonald's moved in, heritage protections kept its facade and interiors intact.
A fun and very Melbourne print celebrating one of the city's most photographed buildings.
This Clifton Hill McDonald's poster is an original Suburban Icons artwork by Historic Prints, available as an A4, A3, A2 or A1 art print. A thoughtful gift and a standout piece of Melbourne wall art for any home or office.
