Geelong Ferris Wheel (Giant Sky Wheel) Suburban Icon Poster
Since 2005, the Giant Sky Wheel has turned slowly above the Geelong foreshore, carrying locals and visitors high over the bay.
It stands almost exactly where Hi-Lite Park once did. From 1956, Emile Verfurth's amusement park was Geelong's answer to Luna Park, with dodgems, a carousel and its own Ferris wheel, until it disappeared in the redevelopments of the 1990s.
This print captures the wheel at its best, all sparkling water and carnival lights, with a nod to the good times that came before.
Designed by Historic Prints as part of the Suburban Icons collection, this Geelong Ferris Wheel art print comes in A4, A3, A2 and A1, perfect for gifting or adding a little Geelong character to your walls.
