Skipping Girl Vinegar Melbourne (Titled) Suburban Icon Poster

The Skipping Girl sign is as Melbourne as Flinders Street Station or a tram, and this version features the Skipping Girl title.

The original neon girl was created in 1936 by Jim Minogue, the designer of the Nylex sign, for the Abbotsford vinegar factory. After the factory closed in the 1950s, the sign was lost. A smaller version returned in 1970 on top of the Crusader Plate factory, and she has been skipping above Abbotsford ever since.

A glowing dose of nostalgia for your wall.

Designed by Historic Prints as part of the Suburban Icons collection, this Skipping Girl Sign art print comes in A4, A3, A2 and A1, perfect for gifting or adding a little Melbourne character to your walls.
