St Paul’s Cathedral Melbourne Suburban Icon Poster
Across the road from the rush of Flinders Street Station, St Paul's Cathedral is the city's quiet counterpoint.
Designed by English architect William Butterfield and built between 1880 and 1891, the neo-Gothic cathedral stands on the site of Melbourne's first Christian service, held under a gum tree in 1835. Its three famous spires were not added until 1933, long after the doors opened.
This print captures a landmark from the age of Marvellous Melbourne that still holds its own among the glass towers around it.
This St Paul's Cathedral poster is an original Suburban Icons artwork by Historic Prints, available as an A4, A3, A2 or A1 art print. A thoughtful gift and a standout piece of Melbourne wall art for any home or office.
