The Aussie Milk Bar 70s & 80s Suburban Icon Poster

If you grew up in the 70s or 80s, the local milk bar was the centre of the universe.

With a few coins from Mum or Dad, you would ride your bike down for a Sunnyboy or Paddle Pop, or a mixed bag of lollies picked one by one: Musk Sticks, Sherbet Straws and Big Boss cigars. It was where you met your mates, flicked through comics and stayed out until the streetlights came on.

This print celebrates those long summer arvos and the little corner shop that made them sweet.

Choose from A4, A3, A2 or A1 to suit your space. This Aussie Milk Bar print from the Historic Prints Suburban Icons collection makes a meaningful gift and a lovely piece of Australian wall art.
